Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
We have a direct digital x-ray system to be able to offer our patients better radiologic diagnostics. We not only get better definition with our system but we can use computer enhancement to manipulate images to scrutinize images better than with x-ray film.
We also have the capability to e-mail images to referral centers in a matter of minutes when we need results quickly rather than sending an x-ray film via mail which may take days.
We also are more eco-friendly because there are no processing chemicals to dispose of.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Emergencies can be things such as poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our office will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments or you can conveniently drop off the animal if needed. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
