Our surgical services  include fully trained veterinary and technical staff to ensure the safest and most efficient state-of-the-art procedures for your pet.  Our clinic has a
specialized Hepa Filtration System in our surgery suite together with additional heating system for the safety and comfort of your pets; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing. We provide many options for our clients and their pets, including: spays, neuters, soft tissue surgery, tumor removals, eye surgery, laryngeal paralysis surgery, cruciate ligament repair either by lateral suture or TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy), luxating patella surgery, bone plates and pins and FHO’s (Femoral Head & Neck Excision).

Ultrasound

We provide ultrasound services with the GE Logic V5 Veterinary Ultrasound which gives us capabilities to look at the abdomen, vasular, músculo skeletal and other exams. This can help us in obtaining more information about your pet with less invasiveness.

Endoscope

Providing the best in surgical options is what we strive for at our clinic and that is why we also have an endoscope at our practice. An endoscope allows us to non-invasively collect samples of tissues for biopsies or cultures, remove foreign objects from the esophagus or stomach and to perform some surgical procedures in a less invasive manner while providing less discomfort to our patients. This will also be beneficial to our clients with less hospitalization costs and easier recovery for their pets.

Internal Medicine

We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Immune disorders, infectious diseases, intestinal, pancreatic, liver, urinary and respiratory disorders.

Laboratory

Complete in house laboratory featuring chemistry and hematology analyzers providing results in minutes.

Nutrition

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

Laser Surgery

We here at Marquette Veterinary Clinic believe in the advancement of surgical treatments for our animals. That is why we have a Vet Scalpel Laser. There are benefits to using the laser for surgical procedures which include:

Minimized bleeding, less swelling and discomfort, reduced risk of infection, markedly reduced bleeding and faster recovery.

Some of the procedures we can use the laser on are: canine and feline stenotic nares repair, elongated soft palate resection, spays and neuters, ear surgeries, oral surgery, lick granulomas, lump or tumor removals, eye and eyelid surgeries.

If you would like more information on the benefits of laser surgery, please contact us, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Pain Management

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.

Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth. Your pet’s teeth are cleaned thoroughly – above and below the gum line with a safe  ultrasonic cleaner to together with a fluoride treatment to maintain the health of your pet’s teeth. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup.

Digital Imaging

We have a direct digital x-ray system to be able to offer our patients better radiologic diagnostics. We not only get better definition with our system but we can use computer enhancement to manipulate images to scrutinize images better than with x-ray film.

Having a digital x-ray system, we can email the images directly to any referral center if needed.
